uf6 Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up Release
Design agency UF6 unveils the new look for Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up
The new logo and graphics will form the basis of the Eurovision: Making
Your Mind Up identity for the next three years, and represents the new,
edgier feel to the UK Eurovision entry selection programme.
The show airs on BBC ONE on the 17th March, hosted by veteran Terry Wogan who this year is joined by Fearne Cotton.
Says Dean Barnett, UF6 Creative Director; “The BBC wanted the show to
have a fresher, more contemporary look, evident from the new stage set
through to new, sharper graphics. What we have come up with is a
graphics package with a heavy dose of patriotism and adrenalin, that
will integrate well with the live show.”
For broadcast, previous UF6 projects include re-branding of music
channels Kiss & Kerrang for EMAP Performance TV; programme branding
and motion graphics for T4’s Hit 40 UK, Five’s ‘Michael Jackson’s
Mind’, ‘Robbie William’s Secrets’, ‘Make me a Supermodel’ and
Bravo’s ‘Towers of London Documentary’. The impact of their graphics
package for Bravos' ‘I Predict A Riot’ was pronounced as the new visual
standard for all prospective Flextech productions.
