PR & Communications Consultant ~ Tine Frank

Tine FrankTine is a talented writer, photographer and all-round communications specialist. With more than ten years' experience in in-house, agency-side and freelance positions, Tine is a forward-thinking communications strategist with an extensive knowledge of a broad variety of PR and communications aspects within the charity, music, health and medical and home improvement sectors.

Before launching satiworks, Tine worked as Communications Manager at the blindness prevention charity ORBIS, where she was instrumental in defining new target media and was able to increase media coverage by 300%. She furthermore raised the standard of internal communication materials and initiated a more pro-active cross-departmental collaboration in the London office and across the organisation’s global network.

During her time with ORBIS, Tine spent 14 months working on board the ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital, the charity’s high profile medical training tool and ‘ambassador’. With medical training and advocacy programmes taking place across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and South America, Tine was responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating public education campaigns including managing local media, government officials and VIPs as well as international media visitors.

She was furthermore responsible for documenting the charity’s field work through high quality photographs, articles and case studies for global fundraising purposes. Working as part of a multi-national team, this role entailed conducting hugely complicated projects in different cultures presenting a wealth of challenges on a daily basis. However, Tine managed to more clearly define and expand the role, resulting in the position being split in to two and extra staff hired upon her return to the London office.

Having worked primarily with small organisations, both in-house and agency-side, Tine has gained significant practical experience in developing new PR and communications angles and approaches within budgetary and manpower limitations. During her career, Tine has worked with people from all walks of life; from Heads of State, to CEOs, to politicians, to celebrities, to charity beneficiaries in developing countries and she has experience in respectfully and effectively managing people in any given situation.

“Tine Frank worked for 2020 Press & Publicity as an Account Manager on Hampers by Design and the Big Bus Ride, a project which took a London double decker bus from North America to South America in aid of War Child. The Big Bus Ride was an exciting but demanding project, during which, Tine worked tirelessly, juggling the demands of the sponsors, the media, the bus crew members, War Child and the project organiser. She also reacted quickly and calmly to any problems which arose throughout. Her work on Hampers by Design demonstrated Tine’s creativity and sound business sense, as she created several new business ideas for the company, which in turn developed new sales. I would have no hesitation on recommending Tine. I believe she will make a valuable asset to any project she works on.”.
