Renowned photography agency Maconochie Photography looks after such high profile names as the late Helmut Newton Estate, Michael Kenna and Michael Roberts and recently employed satiworks to design a new look website which is timetabled to be live early 2007.

Currently the agency has a flash site which is not only search engine unfriendly, resulting in poor search results and rankings, but is also expensive to maintain since it cannot be updated internally and subsequently leads to photographers portfolios not being as up-to-date as they could be.

satiworks is currently building Maconochie a bespoke content management system driven site that will allow:

greater findability
ensure cheaper maintenance costs
greater labour efficiency

Most importantly it will allow the agency to be in control of their site and ensure that the content is as dynamic and fresh as the photographers that they represent.

Special features of the new site will include clients being able to log-in to a secure server to download images that they have purchased for publication purposes, thus saving time and again money on courier and shipping use for Maconochie.

satiworks is proud to have developed a solution for Maconochie's use of individual 'fancy fonts' that does not require Flash, ensuring as always that content optimisation is the key to successful web marketing.
