satiworks undertook a major media campaign surrounding the launch of MURDOCK London in May 2006, including the compilation of press mailing lists and the writing and distribution of all press materials. satiworks has subsequently been providing ongoing pr support to ensure MURDOCK maintains its high profile in the consumer press.
 
Coverage has been achieved in such titles as You & Your Wedding, Esquire, Arena, Attitude, ES Magazine, Sunday Times Style, Time Out, Metro London, Times Online, GQ Online and other leading lifestyle publications, with a circulation in excess of three million.

satiworks' optimisation role for MURDOCK's e-commerce website is to conduct a search engine optimisation, visitor conversion and online brand awareness service .

This involves working with 'Remote', the programmers of the existing site to fine-tune the site architecture so that it is fully search engine optimised, and ongoing support of the Content Manager in the development of an in-house author style to ensure maximum keyphrase density and thus aid high organic search rankings. This combined with search engine marketing and registraton has already resulted in high serps (Search Engine Result Pages) for key search string results to build brand awareness of the physical store For example: Barbershop London appearing on Page 1 of Google as Result No. 4

Work is now being undertaken to optimise the findability of online functionality of the store through content revision and online marketing.

Ongoing usability of the site and the existing navigation are in the process of being modified so that potential visitors may find and order within the pre-requisite two clicks.


 
satiworks designed the template for the MURDOCK newlsetter in conjunction with Enewsletter provider Mailvivo. Each month we write and deliver the monthly e-newsletter to its target 'City' audience, with average opening rates of 30% with a click thru rate of up to 6%.
