MURDOCK Bridal Magazine Press Release, 26th May 2006

Grooming the Groom…

Every bride will be perfectly polished on her wedding day – hair, make-up, manicure, pedicure…the works! Now we think it is time for the men to follow suit.
MURDOCK is a space dedicated to men situated in the heart of Hoxton. Reflecting a new mood in men’s grooming, MURDOCK is inspired by traditional ideas about men and retail, brought up to date with a modern attitude and laid-back approach, combining the quiet discretion of Jermyn Street with the stylish insouciance of the East End.

Isn’t it time to swap the clichéd stag nights of debauched behavior for a classy day out of grooming and style? We think so – that is why we offer special packages for stag-dos, special treatments for the groom, best man and fathers of the bride and groom in preparation for the special day.

Stag & Groomsman Days

MURDOCK has teamed up with local Hoxton establishments to offer something a little different! Champagne brunch at CRU, followed by a full service at MURDOCK, then pop round the corner to START (ww.start-london.com) where Brix or Phillip will help you get your wardrobe in order. After all that we will arrange guests lists for any of the bars or clubs in the Hoxton//Shoreditch area.
Price £100 per person

Offering everything from our traditional wet shave, hair-cuts, beard trimming, manicures, and shoe-polishing as well as an array of exclusive products ensuring the glow lasts at least through the honey-moon period, MURDOCK is a ‘must’ for the groom to be.

MURDOCK has a comfortable feel, a relaxed place where anyone who seriously cares about their looks can drop in, recharge and rejuvenate. MURDOCK is an intimate retail space and relaxed barber shop, all in one.
