Since opening in 2002, CRU had had a static html website, which they were unable to update themselves, thus having to pay a fee whenever wanting to make content or image changes. They furthermore felt their original website was uninspiring and did little to convey the CRU ethos and atmosphere to visitors.

satiworks designed a bespoke and ‘fool-proof’ cms complete with a new look and feel more closely reflecting CRU’s much-liked interior design. Keen to avoid ending up with ‘just another restaurant website’ satiworks came up with several innovative solutions to make the site more user-friendly and interactive.

The new site now features a blog section where customers can post their comments and ask questions of the head chef and wine expert.
 
Expanding on CRU’s close relationship with local art venues, the site includes an events calendar allowing the venues a forum to crossmarket by blogging their current and upcoming events and increasing CRU's chance of being found in searches.

Most importantly, CRU are now free to add and change contents as often as they wish, keeping the site fresh and interesting to new as well as returning visitors.

Website Traffic Reporting
satiworks set up essential Google Analytics web traffic reporting for CRU in order that they may continue to optimise their web presence. Through ongoing website analysis, satiworks can advise CRU on customer trends and act upon them, helping to ensure they are always pro-active and cater to the demands of an often a fickle client base.
 
Additionally via site reporting CRU can now monitor the effectiveness of the dining portal sites to which they are affiliated and subcribe to. Their increased awareness of their conversion rates now allows them to judge if they are a credible form of investment.
